CLOUDS OVER LOBACHAVSKY
Leonard's 72-H-1113 photograph on page 141 is of Lobachavsky Crater; a crater NW of King Crater on the Back Side of the Moon, at 10 degrees North. X 112 degrees West.

The crater is mysteriously spewing out some "CLOUD" over the rim, as you can see in the photograph. Now, whether it is a spew, a spray, or a Crater RAY miss-identified as a cloud, is hard to say. I may very well be some gas out spraying, which is brightened by the sun's rays hitting it. Leonard insists it must be some form of,...
"pure energy moving over the crater rim towards
the center of the crater."..."The band of light
is not a ray,...it is not a patch of reflected
light on the ground,..."This band of light is
like no other light one usually sees on the Moon.
It maintains its integrity as a light even inside
the rim of the crater, which is in shadow,...the
topography beneath the band 'cloud' shows
through."..."It is a total mystery to me,...(But, I can't help wondering, why couldn't intelligence
be in the form of pure energy?)."

One can only guess at what it is. And I cannot help but conclude that this is what George did; he guessed at it and came up with nothing but a mystery.
