Disney and the New Age!

The duty of parenthood has never been so importanL The present generation of parents seems oblivious to the attack on the home and the reach by unclean ideas for the mind and devotion of children. No longer &e the "New Agers" and "One Worlders" willing to wait for school age to capture your child's imagination. They are reaching for them in the toddler stage as soon as they can hear a catchy song or be hooked on an animated character.

Parental Discernment

Parents are desperate to learn discernment. Why would we dream of protecting our child's health from a contagious disease or protectmg their life from a vicious animal and yet treat their young minds and souls as if they were unimportant? A child can be totally destroyed mentally before they reach six years of age.

Have we forgotten that our children are not just mind computers, but that they are souls that absorb everything they hear, feel, learn and expenence into their very person? Mental health personnel are often baffled by the effect that one abusive sex experience can have on a child. They have documented the effect of bad experiences in the home from an unhappy childhood or from the absence of love and understanding.

We must translate this kind of data and knowledge back to the Biblical understanding of the soul. Every human person is a soul with deep capacity to assimilate and absorb everything experienced from an extremely early age. No wonder it can take an angry child years to readjust to a healthy mindset. Children are probably the world's most powerful and beautiful sponges.

Children Are Born Innocent

Children are brought into this world with absolutely no guilt, no sense of unhappiness and a perfectly clean slate. Yes, there is a bent in their character that causes them to be independent and if left unredeemed it will lead that soul deep into an evil lifestyle. This independent emotion is what the Bible calls the adamic nature. God never intended for man to go his own way, but to be a lover of those values and virtues of the Creator. We were created to be lofty creatures enjoying forever fellowship with our God. Jesus Christ is our Redeemer and by His blood He will cleanse the soul from unbridled independence and redirect each life back to God.

The seed of sin sets us on a negative and sinful course. This is where parents are so very important. Three things are absolutely necessary: Discipline in the home, Bible Study that instills the virtues of surrender to God and protection from unclean powers. Satan is after a child's mind because every idea that separates us from God begins in the mind. You can easily establish that every sinful emotion, every sad negative thought and every rebellious idea begins with the mind.

From a child's mind their very personality (biblically called "soul") is contaminated. A child that experiences "heathen religious" teaching, ideas of the occult and the titillation of rebellion against the God of Creati~n will most likely follow that course. The adarnic nature will be turned loose in any child if that nature is fed.

World System: Mind Control Of Children

The world system is dedicated toward deciding for you what your children are going to become. It is not an accident that sexual abuse of other children, guns, drugs, sex and violence now dominates the news concerning children. Children are doing what the enemy or the parents have programmed them to do. Parents should be angry at themselves for allowing the world to capture the minds and souls of their families. Let's deal with the latest attack from Hollywood before we return to our own responsibilities.

Disney's Latest Attack On American Families

The children's entertainment industry has declared war on the values of traditional American families. The "New World Order" has an agenda for a racially transformed society. They believe your child/ children must be taught to think according to this New Wave. It now appear~ that Disney has been totally transformed into a New Age industry. The latest major production, "Pocahontas", is no longer historical Pocahontas, but an "earth worshipping sex goddess."

Pocahontas receives her directions for life, not from her father, but from a tree spirjt, dreams and scary revelations. She is a perfect example of a "New Age" free spirit united by strange powers to the earth, nature and the animals. Her appearance is more goddess than human. The fictitious first meeting between Pocahontas and Captain Smith is described with the language of occultic deception. She supposedly shows Captain Smith that "animals, plants, the wind, the cloud, even people are alive and connected to each other." He was so impressed that the story suggests, "He could see the col6rs of the wind that Pocahontas saw, and feel what Pocahontas felt." This first meeting ends by the event being called, "their magical time together." No child can be immersed in these satanic lies without some degree of impressions.

As the story continues, you have all the basic ingredients of a "New Age" or occultic lie. Although Pocabontas's mother is dead, her spjrit continues to communicate to Pocahontas and her father. Her favorite place in the forest is called, "the enchanted glades." A particular tree communicates to Pocahontas and to her and Captain Smith when the two are together. The tree, "Grandmother Willow", can even act in special ways to defend her benefactors. Remember, one of the occultic ideas is that every person can have a spirit guide for making life's decisions. Biblically, we call this "demon possession." Children are being taught this evil practice and many are already possessed.

In a past experience I was called to the hospital by a father because his daughter showed strong symptoms of being possessed. The doctors were startled by the young ladies's behavior. Her mother who was backslidden from the faith had involved her daughter in some activity unknown to the father. When I arrived and first spoke to this ten-year-old young lady she spoke in a normal voice, but then quickly changed and began to say in a guttural voice, "Satan is more powerful than Jesus." "Satan is more powerful than Jesus." This continued for at least an hour while we prayed, sang and believed for her deliverance. Finally, and suddenly, the spirit departed and she was immediately well. Even the doctor called to thank me for believing for the miracle and to give pralse to God.

This true story is but one example of how evil behavior can mar and destroy lives. Watch your newspaper or the news for stories of bizarre murders, incest, rape and a multiple list of evil things happening to children and young people. In one way or another Satan and evil powers are responsible for every act of destruction and lawlessness. Just yesterday I dealt with an uncle whose 14 year-old male nephew had just raped a three-year-old male cousin. The three-year-old required hospital treatment.

In the movie, "Pocahontas", the tree spirit is heard telling ta~, "Let the spirits of the earth guide you." Is that the message American families want to fill the minds and souls of their children and youth? Are parents so foolish as to think that their few words of warning can erase this kind of rubbish from the hearts of young sponges that absorb every experience of life? If you do, the world is certainly smarter than you have ever dared to be.

Notice how the story shows Captain Smith as being completely overcome with the great insight and spiritual wisdom of goddess Pocahontas. Do not think for a moment that this picture will be unnoticed by the young viewers. Her sex appeal and goddess-like aloofness is clearly captivating. Boys and girls alike will be, to use an occultic term, enchanted and mesmerized by her appeal. Pocahontas' 5 message to children is totally "New Age." The whole of nature is seen as part of "the circle of life". Everything from the rainbow, trees, water and the wind is connected by the spirit. The whole story is a demonic lie.

Anyone that suggests that this kind of film is a good way to teach young children needs to take a few lessons in common sense. Why are Christians so gullible? Why do we need Satan's devices and lies as our teaching tools when the Holy Scripture has warned against the least participation in evil? Listen to the warning God Himself gave to Moses concerning the practices of false gods and evil spirits. "The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing." (Deuteronomy 7:25-26, KJV).

We must learn that the nature of independence (adamic nature) that we were born with is susceptible and sensitive to suggestions from the enemy. A grown man and woman in the first garden (Garden of Eden) Were overcome by this same deception through the lies of Satan. Are we so wise that we can play with evil and false spirits that oppose God? A film like Pocahontas actually recreates the same kind of beautiful natural scenes as Adam and Eve encountered in the Garden of Eden. This clearly makes this production extremely dangerous.

Protecting The Minds Of Your Children

If we lived in Africa where heathenism, was the historical way of life we would probably understand the need of protection for our children. America is at the crossroads and many parents are yet to see the handwriting. Our nation is already post-Christian but we still feel secure and hide our heads in the sand. Many of our American children will become victims before most of our parents wake up. I hear stories regularly of parents suddenly jostled to their senses by disasters that they were too late to avoid.

Don't Be One Of Those Heartbroken Parents

As a pastor I beg you not to wait too late. The Bible teaches us to "Neither give place to the devil." (Ephesians 4:27, KJV). It is a lot easier to protect your child from deception than to help your child get free once they are bound. When children are young their minds are tender and pliable. They are like a tender tree that can be shaped and directed. Once a child has become set they often can never be reshaped. Remember that Jesus promised, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6, KJV). When parents are remiss, the correction is often impossible.

The Family Altar needs to replace the family television. When the Lord Jesus Christ is real in your home your children will fall in love with Him. Too much of today's religion is nothing, but head knowledge. Let's fill our children's lives with a joy that never ends.

Politically Correct Disney & Child Sacrifice

Captain John Smith, in 1607, describes the worship of the Indians of Virginia:

"The chief god they worship is OKE, & they serve him more of fear than love. In some part of the country, they have yearly a sacrifice of children. Such a one was at QUIYOUGHCOHANOCK, some ten miles from James Towne, & thus performed: Fifteen of the properest young boys, between ten & fifteen years of age, they painted white. Having brought them forth, the people spent the forenoon in dancing & singing about them with rattles. In the afternoon, they put those children to the roote of a tree. By them, all the men stood in a guard, every one having a Bastinado [cudgel] in his hand, made of reeds bound together. These made a lane betweene them all along, through which there were appointed five young men to fetch these children. So every one of the five went through the guard to fetch a child, each after the other by turns; the guard fearlessly beating them with their Bastinadoes, & they patiently enduring & receiving all. All this while the women weepe & crie out passionately; pounding mats, skinnes, mosse, & drie wood, as things fitting their childrens' funerals.

"After the children were thus passed~the guard, the guard tore down the tree, branches & boughs, with such violence, that they rent the body & made wreathes for their heads, or bedecked their haire with the leaves. What else was done with the children was not seene; but they were all cast out on a heape in a valley, as dead.

"The chief being demanded the meaning of this sacrifice, answered that the children were not all dead, but only that the OKE did sucke the blood from their left breast of those who chanced to be his by lot, till they were dead.

"This sacrifice they held to bee so necessarie, that if they should omit it, their OKE & all their other QUIYOGHCOSUGHES (which are their other gods) would let them have no dear, turkies, oome, nor fish; & in this lamentable ignorance doe those poore souls sacrifice themselves to the Devil, not knowing their Creator," (Original pages 32,33, 34, including original spelling.
